Re: About Combined Neuro/Psych Programs

Hi,

I've noticed that there are combined Neuro/Psych programs as well.
How competitive is it compared to combined Med/Psych or Psych?
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

There are a lot fewer programs in combined neurology and psychiatry than there are in combined medicine and psychiatry. As a result, you would expect neuro/psych to be more competitive. However, I think far fewer people are looking to do do neuro/psych combination.

So, I basically don't know how much difference there is in competitiveness, but my own guess is that it would be similar, and depend a lot more on the quality of the program than the fields of the program.
