Calculus is a prerequisite for physics, right?

Postby Guest » Sat Mar 13, 2004 8:57 pm

Admin, sorry for the redundancy, but my east coast community college has calculus listed as a prerequisite for physics. I am currently in physics 1 and calculus 1, and I am encountering problems that require a comprehensive understanding of calc 2! I don?t see how some schools do not require calculus when it is needed to approach most, if not all problems as they pertain to physics. Is there a way around this problem that I am not aware of?
