Many medical schools "suggest" calculus, but it is not required by most medical schools.

As most medical schools don't require calculus, AP credit for calculus is usually more than enough. For the very few schools that "require" calculus, I'd expect AP credit would be sufficient. Ultimately, you'd have to check with the specific medical school to make absolutely sure.
