Hi I would like to ask if it's compulsory to study Physics to become a psychiatrist. In almost all high schools here, science students are only allowed 2 sciences, 1 math and 1 humanities/arts courses unless we do exceptionally well to request for another subject. Will this affect my chances of becoming a psychiatrist? Furthermore, my Physics knowledge is very little because I'm a Biology student. I was just wondering if it's time for me to brush up on my Physics if it is a compulsory part to help me get into medical school. Thanks.

One year of physics is required for medical school, but it is college level physics that you need to take. You will need the knowledge for your MCAT exam.
