Do pre-med courses need to be taken consecutively?

Do the courses have to be taken consecutively? For example, if I take Physics I in the fall do I have to take Physics II the following semester in order for it to count for medical school requirements?

I have never heard that courses need to be taken consecutively to count for pre-med or anything else for that matter. As long as you've taken all of the required courses, you should be fine.
